BOPP / Wrap around labels

Wrap around labels literally wrap around the bottle/container and are secured with hot melt glue at the end. The substrate that is used is Biaxially Oriented PolyPropylene , commonly called BOPP. Wrap Around Labels has replaced paper labels in many cases, for the following reasons –

• High Transparency
• High Gloss and Matt look also available
• High Opacity
• High Tensile Strength
• Moisture exposure does not affect strength or cause any mould growth
• Reduced weight & thickness without affecting strength
• Low cost Label
• High Speed Label application of upto 600 bottles/min by automatic label applicators
• Gives 360 degree label coverage

Wrap around labels can be supplied in Roll/Reel form

Wrap On Label has a large area of Application, some of them are –

• Packaged Drinking Water
• Aerated Drinks (Soft Drinks)
• Juices and Edible Oil to name a few…

It is most commonly used for Mineral Water and Aerated Drink packaging because of its low cost and high production capabilities when using high speed label applicator machines.
